I was born in a small village, many years ago....

No, not really, I was born in a suburb of a big city, and have a good sense of humor.

I learned very early in my life how to mediate between people who didn’t quite see eye to eye (read: my parents were often in conflict), and I didn’t know that those early skills would take me into a profession that I love.

I have had personal experiences of relationships that didn’t work, and for many years now, have the pleasure of a relationship that is fantastic.

Does that mean that we don’t argue? No

Does that mean that we like to do the same things all the time? No

Is he my soul mate? I’m not sure anyone really knows what that means.

What I do know is that we are there for each other, that we encourage each other to be the best person we can be. We encourage growth, exploration, and fun!

It means that when we disagree, we respect each other’s point of view (most of the time), that when we have different ideas of how or what to do, we listen to each other (most of the time).

Nobody taught us the skills we need to create healthy, long-lasting relationships.

I've been a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 30 years, and I specialize in working with couples. I love the work I do, helping individuals and couples learn what it takes to create and maintain loving, growing and alive relationships.

I hope you’ll give me the opportunity to help you have the relationship you wish for.
